Academic Integrity

If my classmate wants to copy of my homework due to a family emergency, the best thing he can do is to communicate his issue with the teacher. 9 times out of 10, the teacher will offer an extension due to a classmates family emergency, but if the classmate really wants me to help him, there are a few things I can do.

On Immesage, I usually check messages through the "peek and pop" feature, which is where you can see a users message without it showing that you have read it. If the message involes academic dishonesty, like in this scenerio, then this feature would allow me to read the message and not respond, with my classmate thinking I have not read the message.

Peeking and popping would only be useful if this is minutes before the due date, as I wouldn't be able to help me classmate with the assignment. If I check my phone a day or even hours before the due date, I will be able to help out my classmate with the homework. A passion of mine is teaching, which is why I created my website and TikTok, and I would be happy to offer my friend assistance. By walking my classmate through the first problem, he will have enough background information to solve the rest.
